Select five plus one
Choose five distinct white-ball numbers from 1 to 69, then one red Powerball from 1 to 26. The red Powerball is independent and can share a value with a white ball. Base play costs $2; some jurisdictions bundle Power Play.
Drawing schedule
Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The reference-pick locking window on this website closes 15 minutes before the scheduled drawing. Actual ticket-sale deadlines vary by selling jurisdiction.
Power Play
Power Play is an optional $1 add-on. It multiplies most non-jackpot base prizes by 2×, 3×, 4×, 5× or 10×. Match 5 with Power Play is always $2 million. The 10× option is available only when the advertised annuity jackpot is $150 million or less. This website does not assign an official multiplier to generated reference lines.

State-specific rules apply, including pari-mutuel payouts in California. The jackpot odds are 1 in 292,201,338. Advertised annuity and cash values are different; recorded archive amounts are not silently converted between them.
Double Play is a separate drawing
In participating jurisdictions, optional Double Play uses the same chosen numbers in a separate draw with a $10 million top cash prize. The archive and comparisons here cover the main Powerball game only; Double Play results are not mixed into main-game statistics.
