Pick five plus one
Choose five distinct white-ball numbers from 1 through 70, and one Mega Ball from 1 through 24. The Mega Ball is selected independently, so it may share a numeric value with one of your white balls. A play costs $5.
When drawings happen
Drawings take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Retail and online sales cutoffs depend on the participating jurisdiction.
Multiplier and jackpot odds
Current plays include a built-in 2×, 3×, 4×, 5× or 10× multiplier for non-jackpot prizes. The previous optional Megaplier belongs to older game formats. The current jackpot odds are 1 in 290,472,336.
