Current format

Lotto Plus 1 uses the same six selected main numbers from 1–52 and one separate Bonus Ball from 1–52, but it has an independent draw and independent prize pool. The add-on costs R2.50 and requires a main Lotto entry; the combined Lotto plus Plus 1 entry is R7.50.

Source and verification: the National Lottery operator portal returned HTTP 403 to automated access during implementation. The current profile was cross-checked against the public Lottery.co.za Lotto Plus 1 guide and 2026 archive, together with the local Lotto Plus 1 database. The main Lotto ticket is required, and the selected numbers are reused for Plus 1. The Plus 1 winning result is nevertheless independent from the main Lotto result. Lotto, Lotto Plus 2, Bonus Ball and Bonus Ball XTRA are not joined to this archive.
